Singkarak Lake lies very wide and administratively in two districts in West Sumatra, namely Solok and Tanah Datar. Lake which is about 70 km from Padang, capital of West Sumatra has an area of about 1,000 hectares. With the area of this lake becomes the second largest in the plains of Sumatra after Lake Toba. Tour de Singkarak was first held in 2009. The holding time lasts for a week between April - June with seven stages that must be passed by the Bali Holiday Villas Seminyak participants. Tour de Singkarak is not just a bicycle race on the highway, but also the introduction of culture and natural beauty of West Sumatra Province.
